That's one of the LCBO's flagship stores, and it has a large collection of vintages in the basement. That site will be redeveloped, but any redevelopment will almost certainly include an LCBO.

Steinberg was my first ever boss way back when I was a high school student working at the Metro on Rideau. I don't think there's any relation to the former owners. He was the assistant store manager at that Metro before they shut down for construction.

The government workers love their parking lot behind the LAC and don't want even temporary closures on Commissioner. They even forced the pipe alignment for the new library to be moved under the MUP instead of under Commisioner because they didn't want to close the road for pipe work.
