Glad there is less black at the top than in those earlier renders, but the faux look is still tacky to me. The little fleur de lis on the balcony glass is also a little much lol

This shot really makes me hope something, anything, gets built north of the trench! For this project, obviously its very ambitious, but I love the thought put to connecting McRae (almost) with Winona for pedestrians.

looks nice, but its park river so prob not happening! Too bad the project doesn't include 337 Tweedsmuir, there could have been a pathway connecting Lion's park with the McCrae parkette.

it was only mentioned they were in discussions with Fotenn so likely still a long time in the future. EDIT: it was mentioned the application may show up as early as January

mentioned at planning committee, Myers is planning on redeveloping 1200 Baseline over a long period of time, starting with the western most portion of the property. Apparently contemplating as many as 5 towers, but it was mentioned this would be over many decades.

this project, the library, and Claridge's tower look quite nice together when approaching downtown on the parkway

My fear, is that if things have not changed since the original restart in COVID, all passenger rail service within the corridor will be handed off to the private consortium, which deprives VIA of the only thing it makes money on. That lack of revenue just increases the amount of subsidy vs...
