Lady Grey Wall and Escarpment Project | NCC

The ORC has been open to the public for the last 158 years and we are always looking for new members to join our open and welcoming rowing community. Please come down and be a part of the Ottawa Rowing Club.
Will it be partly or fully closed in the Winter?

Can confirm: ARL is an excellent program for adults of all skill level and fitness. For a hilarious and strenuous Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night activity through the spring and summer, join up! Race Nights are probably the most fun you can have while trying not to pass out.

Some jaw dropping renderings coming up. Anticipated completion date in December 2028. Thank you Pat from Rail Fans Canada Discord for finding this!

Sweet sacre bleu!!! I want all of this!

This really looks spectacular, and I'm happy that they were able to elegantly maintain access to the National Gallery loading dock without it looking shoe horned. It does seem that the Archives of the Dominion / Global Centre for Pluralism will lose their back parking, but I suspect they are good with that as there was a significant push for connecting and reinvigorating the river front some years ago from them.

What do to the timelines looks like? The escarpment project was supposed to be done in 2025 but I think got slightly delayed. Is it basically there (save for plantings and the like)?

The way I read the RFP D/B for this next phase, it seemed to me like this could be shovel in the ground very quickly, meaning within the next few months. Am I reading things wrong? I'm also surprised this last piece seems to have been a pinch hush, hush, but then surprises are nice too :)
