Somehow possibly my biggest frustration.
PWHL is not happy with the reduced arena capacity, and Sutcliffe is being an ass about it.

IMO, Landsdowne 1.0 and 2.0 have been one mess after another. Serious lack of vision and creativity.PWHL is not happy with the reduced arena capacity, and Sutcliffe is being an ass about it.

1.0 was a major improvement over the parking lot we had before. 2.0 is a downgrade, with smaller sports facilities, and worse of all, far less green space and the loss of the berm.
I wonder how much of a difference it would have made if we hadn't compromised on density for 1.0.

I'm really going to miss the epic Raymond Moriyama design of the North stands/Civic Centre. Such an iconic building. I might shed a tear when that starts coming down.

I agree that Landsdowne 1. was a major improvement. It's just that it could have been much better instead of just having buildings with brown bricks.
And so much history in that building; political conventions that gave us some of our great (and not so great) Prime Ministers, the return of the Ottawa Senators, SOS Montfort and so much more.

I mean, I think we can all agree the interiors are extremely nice and a big upgrade from the current facilities, but yes... the exterior leaves much to be desired.
