I could easily see these towers being gobbled up by people getting rid of their SFH and downsizing while their children and grandchildren stay within Orleans.
This is exactly what is happening at Petrie's Landing. You get a beautiful view of the Ottawa River, barely any maintenance to do, no mortgage, but stay close to friends and family.

Some on Ottawa/R don't seem to understand why people want to live in apartments.
NIMBYs make no sense. They complain about not enough city services but also complain about heights or lack of infrastructure or the fact that a city is growing. What? They expect Ottawa to just never grow again? Lol.

I'll always be happy with developments like these, I just wish we had more affordable projects for purchases. Better incentives so more Canadians can own the place they live in. Anyways, it's a great mixed-use project, so hopefully it'll spur more development nearby.

Do i like everything the city is doing no but if we were not growing we would be in real bad shape.
