Wow, I didn't realize there would be a full-service, year-round restaurant in there. That's great news. Hopefully it's successful and spurs more of this along the river.

Howards pawn shop at Bank and Flora closed a few weeks back. Opens up a pretty nice retail space that previously felt pretty dead with all the window coverings.

The CDN Tire gas station in Kanata Centrum is being rebranded to Petro Canada (nationwide rebranding I believe) which will result in two Petro Canada's at the same intersection.

My kid is going to love Olive Garden just like I loved the one on Merivale when I was a kid. It's not great food in retrospect, but the last time I had it in the US in Watertown it was still better than the microwaved food at modern East Side Mario's, and then the unlimited garlic bread...

Might've been mentioned before, but, College Square has a devapps to allow for a new drive through for Chick-Fil-A. Where "The Beer Store" was located.

I would encourage all of you to visit the new cafe on spark street, Parliament cafe! The atmosphere is excellent and the hours don’t just cater to federal workers haha.
