    The Talisman | 1354-1376 Carling Ave. | 72m | 22s | Holloway Lodging | Geiger Huot

I hope the red trim comes across as a nice dash of colour, and not an incoherent mess like Loop.

I can't change the database like I can change a thread, it's more complicated. I have would love to start doing database updates and new entries, but it's very time consuming, and time is not something I have had a lot of in the past year.

    LUXO Place | 1178 Cummings Ave. | 27m+115m | 8s+35s | DMA | PMA+Lapalme Rheault | U/C

The trim is nearing completion on all facades. I'm not blown away by the design of the tower, but the podium and the mid rise look fantastic. I think it will all come together when the next two towers are built.

This would be such a cool...dare we say...'Landmark' project, were it not 25/27s. 30/32 or more would be great. At this height it'll be lost in the sauce from most angles, not in the tabletop (yet), but tabletop adjacent.

    A couple of perspectives:

    Ottawa Claridge Icon | 142.94m | 45s | Claridge Homes | Hariri Pontarini

Even from the flat roof it's 147m, and from the cornice around the roof it's 149m. By proper CTUBH standards, though, this is a 151m building from grade to architectural tip. Most of our numbers on new buildings are dead accurate using the new imagery, but not for Icon. This is a skyscraper.

    LUXO Place | 1178 Cummings Ave. | 27m+115m | 8s+35s | DMA | PMA+Lapalme Rheault | U/C

This one is exactly 115m using new Google Earth imagery.

    Ascent @ LeBreton Flats | 86m+102m | 25s+30s | Claridge | EVOQ

This one is bang on 102m using the new Google Earth imagery.

It was originally 60, but I'll take 50. Shovels in the ground now please. The new design is pedestrian and inoffensive, but would look great next to Sky's curves (if it ever gets built).

    Ottawa Claridge Icon | 142.94m | 45s | Claridge Homes | Hariri Pontarini

I measured from the top of the stairwell, not the HVAC, I should have clarified.

WE HAVE A SKYSCRAPER!!!! Google Earth finally has the updated imagery, and I was able to measure from average base to architectural tip. Claridge Icon is exactly 151m tall, making it Ottawa's first skyscraper.

    General Update/Rumour Thread

The new 3d imagery on Google Maps is gone for me today. I was having a blast with that. Does anyone else still see the updated imagery?
