The corten steel accents really are a nice surprise. I wish the taller tower had it's pretty side facing LeBreton though.

This thing is really starting to give off some serious 'Wow Factor'. I think the exterior will be fundamentally complete by late summer.

This is a seriously cool building. It looks great from all angles. I absolutely adore the red accents. Between this and Odenak, I'm hoping that red is the new grey in this city.

True, but why not some clean boring old light beige like the towers behind it (post reclad)? Why does everything have to be black and white in the West end?!?

St Laurent is about to get a huge new Sephora and an H&M. Good timing, might give the mall a little more lease on life after The Bay closes. H&M is replacing Linen Chest.

Subtle, but nice. I'm very happy to see the cross shaped detail on the podium in muted corten steel instead of light brick.

Some details of the cladding. White stone for the podium, and nasty looking precast panels for the tower. This one is definitely making my Blight list.

Are there plans to demolish that building?

This one is nearly complete. What a long build! Still no sign of the third building getting going.

Ottawa has a massive NIMBY/BANANA contingent. 30-40 stories is finally normal enough that the pitchforks mostly stay sheathed, in the but it took decades. Getting a couple of 50+ story buildings out of the ground will reset the norm and we can finally build up the city properly without so much...

...and hopefully it gets built as a landmark design like the 65 and 56 story terra cotta and glass towers that Trinity proposed, not the chopped down Mega Charcwhites that CLV was showing in their renders. This site deserves design excellence and extraordinary height.
