That teardrop lot to the left would be a most excellent spot for a tall point tower with views of Parliament.

So many new projects in this area. Too bad they're all surrounded by highways and large avenues. Not pedestrian friendly and not necessarily surrounded by retail or services either...
Retail is missing in the proximity, but it's a pretty kickass location as far as green space goes, it's central to some of my favourite greenspace in the region.
Agreed, but the way the rules are in Gatineau and Quebec, it will never happen.
