They have just started FINALLY doing parts of the cladding on the south wall facing Richmond. I'll try to grab a couple of photos but it's only a panel here or there. It has basically been in this state of exterior finish since spring while they worked interior and the Winston facing brick.

Here’s the other side where they’ve got most of the panels up. It’s…fine, I guess, for an otherwise blank wall.

It's not pretty but also not super ugly, I really wish they would establish some sort of mural requirement for all these blank walls we are getting in the city.

The real question, did you get a scone?

Heh, not this time. But I do quite like that place. I wish Ottawa had more small little cafes and shops on side streets.

Looking at that blank wall, I have the song "I'm turning Japanese" in my head. Gives me a very bland Tokyo low rise vibe.

The wall is finished and it looks pretty good, IMO.
Surprised to see the building overhang the adjacent property. That roof is going to get a beating from the rain, snow and ice that will fall onto it from the new building.

IT doesn't, it steps back at the end of the "podium" a bit.
