...I was just there this weekend but it was too cold to explore
.How safe do you find the infrastructure? I'm just looking at the map legend, curious about how bike lanes feel vs. suggested routes, paved shoulders, etc.
C.D. Howe Building's new secure bike parking. Not open yet. Not fully secure; if someone really wants to get in there, they could, but a big step up from bike racks outside and far more accessible than underground parking bike cages.

This is a really important step forward in this (and every other Canadian) city. I truly believe that tens of thousands of people in this city would prefer to bike commute 3 seasons if they didn't have to worry about losing their bike every day.

Yesterday's rally by organized by Councillor Leiper against the province's legislation against safe cycling infrastructure. Councillors Troster, King, Kavanaugh, and Menard were also there.
Bike Ottawa/Ecology Ottawa/Strong Towns Ottawa will be hosting another rally Saturday at 3:30.
