General Update/Rumour Thread

What the heck.

Wasn't some other editor on there fiddling around recently as discussed on SSP? or am I mis remembering that.
Yeah, it was Harley and another guy. Other guy added the map and buildings as low as 75 meters. I don't Harley or the other guy removed the proposed/approved buildings.

The Convent has been sold to a new owner that's actively working with the City to determine the condition of the structure. Could be related.

Convent site re-zoning application head's-up
As I noted in a recent Facebook post, the convent site at 114 Richmond Road has a new owner. On Friday, the City advised that it has received Minor Zoning By-Law Amendment and Site Plan Control applications for the property. I’m told that the applicant is proposing to construct six new stacked townhouses with a total of 126 units, and a four-storey low-rise apartment building with 47 units. A total of 152 vehicular parking spaces is proposed within underground parking garages. The applications are not yet posted on DevApps, but I expect they will be early next week. My office will arrange for a community information session at a future date and I’ll share that information on my social channels and the newsletter once we have more details.
