This is an odd-looking construction site. At the moment there’s a triangular section rising in the middle for one of the towers.

These will be so important for the area. More projects like this around Rideau Centre is needed though!!

Public realm enhancements to Nicholas and redevelopment of the parkade would really connect this area nicely with Rideau and the market

I think that triangular structure might be to enclose and protect the Convention Centre loading dock entrance.

This will be an interesting dig.
But wouldn't it be easier to move the house for the dig and foundation parts?
Seems the building sits on a slab and could have saved a lot of time and energy.

With the tarps off, yep, looks like it’s a protected structure for the loading dock. And then they build around it.I think that triangular structure might be to enclose and protect the Convention Centre loading dock entrance.

Hard to tell from this angle but they’ve dug pretty deep under the registry building now.
Man those stilts look precarious
