I think I'm team Bayview. More space to have a central plaza surrounded by different uses. The strip of land that is currently earmarked for them is just that, a very linear strip!

Instead of using piles to reach down to bedrock, it was decided to dig all the way to bedrock (which is deeper than P2). So I actually think the dig will take a while unfortunately.

Well I hope no one actually believes that there is going to be a Jeff Koon's sculpture in the public realm here.

Liking this project more and more. It's nothing special but it's so much better than its neighbour across the street. The streetscape on this project is also much more interesting. There are some zig-zagging windows at grade.

Man.. Little Italy is such a contrast in built form. Can't wait for it to fill in a bit.

My most recent spicy Ottawa city building take is that no new SFHs should be allowed to be built within the Greenbelt. 🌶️

I haven't been past The Revalie recently but that is great to hear that they are getting some traction on leasing out the retail there.

The most likely reason it is shown is because it helps Claridge's argument for the height here.

The cold sandwiches at Subito are top notch so I would recommend returning. Dirienzos is good but I find the bread too crunchy/dry. I would also recommend trying Gooneys at Kent and Albert. My top three (not in order) are Subito, Gooneys, and Sherwood Deli

Agreed that it is usually an amenity or mechanical floor. It could also be because of a change of unit layouts which means plumbing needs to shift around (and thus the need for more ceiling height)

There are many things I would describe the CTC as but dirty is not one of them.
