It certainly won't win any awards (though this is Ottawa, so it might. But it's not Claridge, so maybe not), but overall this is a decent project. It removes a surface parking lot, adds green space (on the roof of the podium), the bland but modern design will provide a nice contrast to the 1970s brutalist towers. New pathways will better connect the site to the Parkway MUP system. Very happy City Council were reasonable in approving the height increase and avoided the sidescraper the site is zoned for.
