Hope they start on the tallest soon after the 25s one!!
I honestly wasn't looking forward to a potential 45 story Claridge building there until I saw the quality of this project and Hintonburg. Now I'm ready for Claridge to bring the heat!

Between this and the Somerset tower, Claridge has surprisingly upped their game recently. Maybe we should all email Claridge's head office with congratulations and affirmation so that we encourage them to continue down this path lol.

I really like how this tower fits in with the character of the surrounding area. It blends nicely with the other Claridge mid-rises and looks good when squared up to the new library.
Couple angles I took yesterday after work. The pictures don't do it justice. Super impressed with the quality from Claridge. Love that they put the glass corner where it is as it will remain visible even after everything is built up thanks to the library's park. I think I like it better than Claridge Hintonbug in a sense.
Honestly, I kind of love it. I talked to a worker on site and he said no talk of the second tower. He said tarrifs are slowing everything down and a lot of the workers on site have recently been laid off. Hopefully the interest rate cut today can kick things back into gear.

Some reports of movement at the excavation site of tower two, but the guy's not convinced they are starting work; possibly just cleaning up and filling the hole. Really hoping that's not the case and they are actually starting up again.
No signs of activity right now. They installed cladding on the side of the parking garage for Tower 1, so very doubtful we'll see Tower 2 move forward this year.
That's disappointing.

The Carling project across from Icon hasn't been approved yet... wait it's Claridge, so that doesn't matter!

Is that why there is literally no info on the Andaz project lol I have no idea what it's going to look like. The one thing I do like about Andaz is it's one of the few buildings downtown that has a rooftop restaurant. I loved the abundance of them whenever I go back to South Asia and SEA.
