Los Angeles is getting a 50 story version of what I thought this tower was going to look like 
At first glance, I thought it was an updated rendering of Moxy. This would probably be simpler and maybe even cheaper than what they are doing now (scaled to 22 floors).

The Great Wall of Rideau has become The Great Clump East!
So sad that there will never be a clumpbreaker in this area. A single 40 story tower would be such a great landmark/anchor.

I really appreciate all the step-backs on this project though. Adds a variety in height and layers to the skyline.
Agreed. Makes the Eastern Block slightly more interesting. Just wait for Claridge to Claridge the parking lots around it though. 
Pics I took Saturday. I'm still on the fence on the fake brick pre-cast on the tower, but otherwise it looks very good. Quality glass over the Major as well.

Insanely massive footprint for this one. Wow.
Huge massing, but nicely broken up by (unfortunately poor quality) different materials.

Wish the fake brick pre-cast only went up aligned with the top level of Major, and the rest was that stone looking pre-cast.

Looking pretty nice and clean. Looking forward to seeing what the balcony railings/glass looks like.
