Haha. I have never been bothered in the common areas of any hotel anywhere in the world though.
That's true now that you mention it. I'm always super comfortable going up the Delta. I've been up the Marriott a few times (once to watch La Machine). I was nervous, but the myself and the dozen or so people weren't bothered. I was in Winnipeg recently at the Fort Garry and my wife and I explored the absolutely stunning 7th floor conference area; bunch of staff, no one bothered us.
The big tower is at 20 floors and already looks nearly as tall as East Flats coming in from the West by virtue of its placement closer in the foreground and it's higher base. This thing will he a beast until something bigger comes along.

Wow is it just me or are these rising fast? Excited to see them get higher and for the coloured cladding to start.

Looking through the photos taken over the last two months, the west tower seems to be rising at an average rate of 1.5 floors/week while the east tower is averaging about 1 floor/week.
If this rate holds steady, we could expect the west tower would top out in about 11-12 weeks (mid-February) while the east tower would top out in about 18-19 weeks (late-March).
I also think we will see the red tower cladding before the end of the month!
