JFUSE opening soon at the base of Milieu, looks like there's only one space left to fill. They've also done a lot of the landscaping/paving along the pedestrian promenade towards Deschâtelets. Once the other side fills out it's really going to feel like a proper urban neighbourhood.

The Spencer definitely feels like a step down compared to other parts of greystone

I play rec soccer at Immaculata and our team often laments the lack of a neighbourhood pub/watering hole in the area - would be nice to walk over to after a warm summer evening game

Chatting about this on skyscraper but instead of a series of houses forming the arc, maybe a row of townhouses might be nicer.

What is proposed:

The current grey siding + big single pane windows + small eaves style looks horrendous on "single family" styled houses. If they're limited to that palate rowhouses will definitely look better

So many opportunities for something unique to Ottawa. I would love to see Council reject this proposal for lacking density.

Pic from today. These are the two large buildings closest to the river. Can see the retaining walls going up (right) as well as the big drill (left).
