The shorter 6-storey building on the south side of Phase 2 is now fully topped out, while the taller 9-storey tower facing Brookfield is about 4 or 5 stories above grade. Will try to snap some pictures soon.

This is great. Literally a 15-minute neighbourhood being created before our eyes where there was not one previously. All the residential behind Brookfield now has somewhere they can walk or bike to for a bite to eat. Is there any sort of grocery/corner store here?

Will be even better once Confederation Heights eventually starts to get developed.

Agreed, this is a great project in terms of design and amenities for the community. I can barely tell the difference between the renderings and pictures.

As for the specifics on the retail component, this as posted in March on SSP by TransitZilla:

Retail tenants are listed on their website: https://revalieottawa.ca/on-site-retail/

• Aisle 24
• Meltwich
• Feras Barber Shop
• A2 Dental
• Subway
• Mezbaan
• Popeyes

Aisle 24 is a small cashless grocery store. Never been to one myself.

I'm impressed that there's a long list of retail tenants, in a desert location such as this. Why can't downtown condos develop tenants, but a student housing block on a parking lot can?

fair enough. Everyone is different.

I’m 21 and from what I see from my entourage is people always complaining that they’re broke but also spending 300 dollars a weekend on going out.

We remember those that spend, not those that don't
