I'm no architect, but surely there must've been a way to built the original design at a lower cost without it looking THIS bad??

It's brand new and it already feels like a 70s block that needs a colourful mural to spruce it up...

If anything the towers are going to be 'inoffensive' simply because they look straight out of the 70s. The podium is just horrendous though.

Here are some simple changes that could have gone a long way.

Podium

• Clad podium with a cream coloured brick as per the original renderings.
• Black, dark grey, or bronze mullions.
• Darker spandrel.

Tower

• Clad tower with anodized aluminum panelling instead of precast (will reduce water staining effect)
• Extend cladding at the top of the building to create a "top" to the building
