267 O'Connor St | 97.65+88m | 25+28s | Taggart | UNStudio + Hobin

I much prefer the red brick from the previous version over the new beige/white brick, but still a very good design.
The Hobin design?

Although the design documents don't seem to mention it, for me the brickwork and arches echo the PSAC building just a block down the road, which has aged extremely well. I think this design may win over the neighbours.

It's still a great project and will look outstanding if it comes out anything like the renders. I hope they can just get started on it so we can finally start seeing it. It won't be far off from the highway so it will be visible there too.

I'd love to see this one go up soon as well. We're desperate for a project like this that's so un-Ottawa from the International architectural firm. Taggart has so many proposals all over though, so I doubt they'll build this anytime soon, if ever.

I do agree. I have zero confidence in Taggart building anything. Especially when they said the kent one is a decade away... lol.
