The Applicant seeks the Committee’s authorization for the following minor variances from the Zoning By-law:
a) To permit a reduced parking space rate of 0.44 parking spaces per dwelling unit, for a total of 26 parking spaces, whereas the By-law requires a minimum of 0.5 parking spaces per dwelling unit, in this case 29 parking spaces.
b) To permit a reduced driveway width of 5.5 metres providing access to a parking garage with a double traffic lane, whereas the By-law requires a driveway width of 6.0 metres.
Looks like they are also proposing a single lane ramp to connect from P1 - P2 with signals above the ramp to indicate if it is safe to proceed. Will be interested to see if this and the driveway width reduction are approved.
