Azure Westboro | 2070 Scott St. | 83.4m | 26s | Azure | BDP Quadrangle

This project coming to fruition has been a major challenge but it is so nice to see it succeed. It's a beautiful building. This almost didn't happen due to the poor mis-management of a certain company that oversaw his Richmond Road Project. Kudos to Brigil for helping John out.
Interesting, so Brigil helped them out by buying the tower. It was an agreement between the two, not just an open sale?

It was an internal process. Azure had the options to an open sale but Brigil was very patient and very understanding of the situation Azure was in. another kudos to a good developer in the region.
Happy to see that. Can't wait to see Brigil's new projects come up. I hope for success for them because it seems like they really do want to do ambitious projects. I hope we can see a massive project by Brigil come up after they get through their next batch.

I'm still holding out for a 50+ story signature development in Downtown Hull with an Observation Deck/Restaurant, something I know they are gunning for.

Yup, still waiting for their Four Points proposal. At this point, I think they are waiting for a more developer friendly Council.
I'd love that. If not, bring it to Ottawa.
Disappointed Brigil (and Minto) wasn't part of the Sens purchase, but who knows, they could still bid on a LeBreton parcel in the future.

Is the new mayor developer friendly? Seems better than before.

And yeah, I hope they bid on one of the Albert proposals and get clearance for 55 floors or something. Lebreton would look massive with the Claridge tower at 45 (or maybe 55 again!!!!), and 900 Albert. 3 large towers like that would be amazing there.

The new administration will be great for cycling, transit and city building projects like sports complexes, the arts and libraries, but they aren't particularly developer friendly. Although they acknowledge the housing crisis, they often oppose projects over the zoning or the demolition of any heritage homes (particularly les Maisons Allumettes more than actually nice brick heritage assets.) That amongst other measures.
