Lansdowne 2.0

Even their attendance might be too high for the tiny arena. I'm seeing an average of 5k to 6.1k. they've had as much as 7k for one game. League's average attendance is 8.9k to 10.7k.

Limiting the capacity was a very dumb move and I have a feeling it will bite them on many fronts over the next 50 years, especially if the NHL arena is built at LeBreton.
I sort of understand why there doing it but it still does not make it right.

Combination of prioritizing the needs of the 67s, minimizing the loss of park space and keeping the price tag below a certain threshold. Like everything else in Ottawa, Penny wise, pound foolish.

For the Black Bears, seems they limit the Palladium's capacity to 7k for NLL games. I imagine they would have a potential to grow that at LeBreton. Same for the PWHL, I think that even the Civic Centre's location limits them to a certain degree. Lot of factors at play, but there's a potential for growth at LeBreton. Could get crowded with three teams though.
