According to the article posted by hoggy yesterday, the next Ottawa tower is set to break ground within a month.

Construction on Block 204 set to begin this month, with a completion date scheduled for October 2027. I wonder if they will be done putting the siding on Block 207 by the time the new block is open...

I am still a huge believer in Zibi and think it will be one of the coolest neighbourhoods in the city in the near future, but right now it is desolate.

CAn we render random people like developers do? (On another note, this reminds me of a neighbourhood I saw being constructed in Amsterdam)

Have people moved into that tower yet? Outside of that there's only a few condos so of course it will be quiet until there's enough residents/density. And hard to justify much retail right now without enough residents - the old chicken and the egg dilmena.
