although, you could also say that the arena will be the centrepiece of the entire development. and so until the arena gets built, it’s just going to be a bunch of spotty apartment buildings with not much else

with all due respect, you might be overestimating how much of an impact that these sites have on the entire neighborhood.

Having a war museum and new fancy library is great in an area that has the local population to sustain it. As it stands, people go and visit these sites but can’t be bothered to stay around because there’s nothing else retaining them there. LeBreton Flats Park would be a great way to give some life to the area in the meantime, but unfortunately it’s not really used outside of the summer months
