These are soaring, I really hope they work on another tower with the NCC. NCC needs to award Dream another lot, ASAP.
As much as I would love that, Dream also needs to work on Zibi. They have one tower going up, but it seems to be taking forever. These are soaring, I really hope they work on another tower with the NCC. NCC needs to award Dream another lot, ASAP.
I'm actually kind of ok with Zibi going a bit slower than Lebreton, I love the island development and it is a big component to show Ottawa is more of a waterfront city than it looks like, but I feel like they're able to move faster on Lebreton development because working with NCC was probably easier than dealing with the city alone for Zibi. I could be wrong, but another tall tower by Dream coming up within 1-2 years after this is done and then going back on focusing with Zibi would be solid, in my opinion. As much as I would love that, Dream also needs to work on Zibi. They are actually forming level 10 in your image! We're up to 8 on the taller tower. it's interesting how much taller the ground level is in the 36s tower vs the 31s tower. Also, the very first three panels of glass have been installed in the ground floor of the 36s tower.
Great shot. From this angle, they will be hands down the most prominent buildings in the skyline, followed by Ascent (not the most flattering angle) and the Renaissance.
Love to see it. These upcoming projects are so exciting!Ottawa is growing up. Finally.
Tell that to Ville de GatineauCan really start seeing it's impact on ground level. This is what all tower should be; podiums of 4 to 6 floors and a slim tower that allows light and air to reach the ground. We should no longer allow built forms like much of Rideau projects over the last 20 yeas or the majority of the CBD's wall to wall office towers.
